Got MILK? Sorry... Out of Stock!
I am hereby officially to announce that I am FREE from breastfeeding!
Started to breastfeed: 12 Jan 2009
Last to breastfeed: 26 April 2010
Duration of breastfeeding: 1 year, 3 months & 14 days
I can now wear dresses to anywhere at anytime.
The big question? How did I managed to wean Little Hern Hern in such a short time? A special thanks to my wonderful Dear for his persistence and endurance during my short disappearance back to my mom's house. Hmm... I left my home sweet home on 27 April 2010 (Tuesday) and reappeared again on 2 May 2010 (Sunday).
At first, my Little Prince was unable to recognize me. However, during the next two days, he was angry with me as he was not being breastfeed. He was trying his luck by cuddling on me. He cried sadly when he was not getting what he wanted and attempted to bite me instead. Poor him. And me too! Thankfully, after that, he seem to forget about the "direct access to milk". Well, since no demand, automatically the supply will reduced by itself till NONE... Yippee! Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Since the weaning was successful, Hern Hern is now able to sit or sleep longer in the car seat and become more independent boy.
Huh... Sometimes, I still miss the feeling of cuddling him on my arms during breastfeeding time. The innocent and peaceful look of him...
I Want to Be A Model
I used to hunt clothes for myself. Now, I prefer to style my Little Prince. It was not an easy task to find the desired clothes for him, as the choices are very limited as compared to girls.
For boys... The choices out there... VERY boring and almost the same look, maybe differs in term of colours, patterns, printing and etc. Some very nice, but only available is small sizes.
Good news! I managed to grab some clothes for him during my shopping spree recently. Even though the available size was 12-18 months, I was tempted to buy for him. Hopefully, Hern Hern will be able to wear it longer than it should be.

7 Signs That Your Child Loves You
1. Your newborn stares into your eyes — he's actually working hard to memorize your face. He doesn't understand anything else about the world, but he knows you're important. |
2. Your baby thinks about you even when you're not around. Between 8 and 12 months old, he'll start to scrunch his face and look around when you leave the room — and he'll smile when you return. |
3. Your toddler throws wicked tantrums. Nope, those screaming fits don't mean he's stopped loving you. He wouldn't be so hurt and angry if he didn't trust you so deeply. |
4. Your toddler runs to you for comfort when he falls down or feels sad. Kids this age may not truly understand the meaning of "I love you," but their actions speak louder than words. |
5. Your preschooler gives you a flower picked from the garden, a finger-painted heart, a sparkly rock, or another gift. |
6. Your preschooler wants your approval. He'll start to be more cooperative around the house, and he'll look for chances to impress. "Look at me!" will become a catchphrase. |
7. Your grade-schooler trusts you with secrets, like his first crush or his most embarrassing moment. You're his confidante, even if he shies away from your hugs in public. http://www.babycenter.com/0_7-signs-that-your-child-loves-you_10327319.bc |
